The Career Management Workshop Modules aim to empower and support participants in managing their careers throughout their life. Participants will be introduced to and taught career management process, job-hunting skills (networking, resume & cover letter writing, interview & assessment centre) and social emotional skills necessary for making informed career decisions to achieve maximum satisfaction in life.

Resume & Cover Letter Writing


This workshop will provide the participants with the fundamental of writing impactful resume and cover letter. The workshop will start with “Understanding Self”. We will then help participants link this self knowledge to the specific jobs, companies and industries they are seeking for (i.e. the concept of relevancy) and provide them with the necessary skills to highlight their passion, strengths and talents so as to achieve “Stickability” with the prospective employers. “Stickability” is the concept of how impactful resume and cover letter can differentiate and make participants stand out from the rest.

Interview Skills


This workshop teaches participants how to excel in the interview before it even starts. Participants will be taught how to handle the different types of interview, the typical & not so typical interview questions, and how to follow up after an interview.  Mock interview will be conducted and feedback provided thereafter.

Networking Skills


In a world where everything is interconnected, networking is important.  Research has found that 80% of jobs are known via networking. In short, networking is an essential skill, when mastered, will help participants get to know more people, thereby increasing their chance of being noticed, known and selected for the ideal job that they desire. Participants will be able to stand out from the crowd using the necessary networking skills and eventually increasing their chances of clinching their ideal job.

Assessment Centre


This workshop will introduce the concept of assessment centre to the participants as an evaluation process. Participants will go through some common exercises used by assessment centre so as to gain a better understanding of the assessment criteria. This will better prepare them for the various situational exercises used by assessment centre to evaluate and select candidate in real life.

Cultural Quotient (CQ)


In an interconnected globalised world where people work in different places and with people from different countries, understanding of cultural differences is critical to success. Cultural Intelligence or Cultural Quotient (CQ) is about understanding the impact of an individual's cultural background on their behaviour in business and social setting. Participants will be taught strategies to leverage on cognitive (head), physical (body) and motivational (emotion) means to understand and empathize the different behaviour driven by culture to bring about effective outcomes in their business and social life.

Emotional Quotient (EQ)


In the past, people associated intelligence (IQ) with success.  Recent research has shown that our emotions play a much greater role in thought, decision-making and success than is commonly acknowledged.  The ability to understand and effectively manage our emotions and others’ is commonly known as Emotional Intelligence/Quotient (EQ). Participants will be given a simple guide on how they could effectively build rapport using NLP technique such as Matching and Mirroring, Leading and Pacing etc.

Career Management Coaching


Living in a world with more opportunities and complexity, people are finding it increasingly difficult to choose an ideal career. Career Management is a process where participants are guided/coached on how to identify their own uniqueness, match this with the relevant job/industry, pick up the necessary networking, resume writing and interview skills to clinch the ideal job.
